Paul

Hi I’m Paul and I own The Added Extra along with my wife Joanna.

My role consists of the day-to-day running of the company. Mainly the (boring) financial side while trusting my fabulous staff in their roles to ensure every event we do runs smoothly. Also creating new ideas that show initiative to keep us in front of our competitors.

My favourite part of the role is seeing how all of the staff come together in their individual roles creating events that in most cases will be the most special day in our customers lifetime. At the very least we will produce great photo opportunities as well as being the best party of the year!

You can find me in our Head Office and soon our showroom. I can also be found at night driving the vans delivering party items for hire!

Joella

Hi, I am Joella. I am the Marketing & Social Media Manager for the Added Extra.

My job mainly consists of running all of our online platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, creating posts, online networking and identifying future trends.

My favourite part of the role is; visiting and connecting with venues, helping to create new marketing campaigns, design new products and getting creative.

I also really enjoy building relationships with other suppliers and taking part in photo shoots!

You’ll find me on the other end of our social media platforms or in the office which is in Congleton town centre!

Hi I’m Jo and I’m the Managing Partner for The Added Extra.

My role mainly consists of answering emails after normal office hours and putting together / creating the children’s party packages.

During lockdown, luckily, with our sweet box deliveries me and Paul were kept very busy.

One of my favourite parts of the job is seeing the children’s faces when we deliver their items. It’s also fun finding out details and chatting about future wedding plans with our Bride and Grooms at the Wedding Fayres.

You will find me either at our Showroom getting creative or working from home! Once we are out of this pandemic you will also find me back at the Wedding Fayres helping you plan your special day.

Hi I’m Keith, the Logistics & Warehouse Manager.

My role consists of ensuring all items are ready to go out for hire in a legal and well presented way. It’s then my responsibility to make sure items arrive to their destination on time by liaising with all the venues and producing the driver itineraries. If all this doesn’t keep me busy i then log all items back in, maintaining the warehouse and stock taking.

I’m a bit of a night owl so i do enjoy working through the night as my 2 children keep me busy through the day. A lot of the items we deliver especially to weddings happen over the early hours of the morning, so it’s not unusual to be setting a wedding up at 4am.

Hi I’m Jas and work in Maintenance for The Added Extra.

My role mainly consists of maintaining all letters and props to make sure they are to the highest spec ready for delivery to the venues and to add that ‘added extra’ to the customers special day.

My favourite part of the role is seeing the customers faces when we arrive with the products as I get to help with the deliveries too, and seeing how blown away they are makes all the hard work worth it.

You can find me in the warehouse covered in paint making sure your special day is all that you wished for!

Hi, I’m Brooke and i have two job roles within the company as i work in the office through the week in the Operations & Sales department, while at weekend I can be found working on the Selfie Mirrors or Pylon.

I love the variation the work offers me. In the office i get to learn so much while at the Weddings and Birthday parties i get to have fun.

Hi, I’m Faye and i work with the Selfie Mirrors and Pylons at mostly weddings. In addition i get a chance to be creative with balloons when customers choose to decorate their LED numbers or letters with a balloon arch.

I also enjoy working at a Jewellers throughout the week in Congleton where i am training to be a Jewellery Manager.

Hi i’m Hannah and i operate the Selfie Mirrors and Photo Pylons at most events.

I love having fun with all the guests and being part of all the activities. I’m studying at my last year of university so i have a busy year ahead of me.

Hi I’m Alex and i operate the photo booths at the events. I am also part of the Sales team. I assist potential new brides and grooms in offering advice at wedding shows.

I live in the Chester area so i cover most of the events in the Chester and Liverpool areas. I mainly do weekends but do all i can as i’m an aspiring song writer and even front my own band.

Hi Im El and i am the Event Leader.

I take care of all the Photobooths, Selfie Mirrors, Pylons and even the outdoor games that we offer. I help train and organise all the event staff to ensure all weddings and events run smoothly.

I keep myself up to date with all the latest photo booth software and i find myself working more and more around the events which i’m loving as it means i can become more involved.

Hi i’m Kiera and i operate the Selfie Mirrors and Photo Pylons at most events. I especially love the weddings.

I like Hannah go to the same university and enjoying my final year. Living near to Congleton and Liverpool as well means i can attend a vast amount of weddings over the Cheshire and Merseyside areas.

Hi i’m Libby and i work part time as a Selfie Mirror Operator in the Cheshire area.

My ambition is to work in the Police force which has now come to fruition. Consequently i will be attending events less and less but i’ve had such fun over the years while doing them and just want to enjoy a few more.

Hi i’m Casey and work as a Selfie Mirror and Pylon Operater.

I heard about the job from my friends Hannah and Keira who also work for the company. Like them i go to university but love doing this as it’s a great way to earn money and have fun at the same time.
