Suit cases can have many functions and are probably venturing into the more finer details of your wedding which is different to the bigger, eye-catching items that we normally offer for hire. They can be used as a way of collecting cards & presents or even adding to a theme that you may be following.

We initially fell into this side of the business by accident. We were designing sweet carts and kept being asked for 2 main themes. The first one was Harry Potter and the second one was the theme of travelling. It allowed our imaginations to run wild, but over time we have acquired over 30 suitcases for our customers to choose from. Sourced with care from charity shops and auctions, every suitcase in our collection has been lovingly restored and decorated to complement your wedding’s aesthetic. These suitcases not only serve a practical purpose but also add a personalized touch to your special day, ensuring your celebration is as unique as your love story.

All have been cleaned and all are decorated in a way to suit your needs.

Many we left, but cleaned to keep authentic, while others we relined with modern concepts like the stag design.

Customers now regularly pick from our large collection of cases to suit their Wedding or party theme. The cases look fantastic stacked against a sweet cart for example. A simple but effective design that looks like you as the host have really thought about your theme and invested great thought into it.

Our wedding card suitcases are £8 each to hire for the day – we don’t do a week hire so you can’t go on holiday with it ha-ha.

When do I get the suitcase?

One of our drivers at The Added Extra will deliver the suitcases in the morning and check all is working correctly. They will be placed where asked if you know where you want them, but this would be discussed with you by one of our creative team the week before your event..

When does the suitcase get emptied if hiring for my wedding or party?

This would usually happen towards the end of the night. We advise you as the host, a trusted family member or friend should oversee this happen. The suitcases are not to leave the venue. The Added Extra staff will never empty the post box or take it away before it is emptied.

What is the procedure for delivering and collecting suitcases?

Our friendly and professional team are here to provide you with total peace of mind. When hiring products, we at The Added Extra are responsible for all removals. Your items will arrive on time, we will set them up for you, check all is working and at the end of the event we will collect. You don’t have to do a thing!

We can offer discounts for long term hiring. Retailers for example use our suitcases in their shop windows, and we are finding more and more professional musicians are hiring them for their events.

(A £10 deposit is required to save the date and the balance is due 28 days before your event)
