With the selfie mirror, this is now a complimentary service for 2025 bookings, you can add a personalised guestbook that you will receive on the night. Our mirror staff will ask all your guests to leave you a lovely message underneath an extra copy for the book. The guests will also receive a copy after their photo. We can add any personalised message on the front of your guestbook to make it a little more special for you!

Frequently Asked Question Regarding The Selfie Mirror
How do you decide which props to use?
We offer a large selection of props for your guests to enjoy. We do ask if there is any special requests, for example if you have a golf hobby, enjoy Marvel movies or have any inside jokes, but if not don’t worry. We always have a selection of instruments, wigs, hats, giant glasses and other hand held props.
How large is the Selfie Mirror?
Height: 154cm, width: 92cm, depth: 60cm.
How much space is required at my venue?
We ask that we have at least a 3.5m x 4m space to work in this allows enough room for group photos in front of the mirror as well as accommodating the prop table. We do liaise with your venue beforehand to discuss these matters to suit everybody.
If you have opted to have a backdrop this is 8ft x 8ft and so extra space is required, though some of our backdrops are adjustable – PLEASE NOTE Ceiling height for the backdrop also.
How is the Selfie Mirror Set up?
We arrive half an hour to an hour before the start time required (dependant on the venue) to ensure the mirror is set-up and working correctly. This also allows us time to heat up the printer and check that too. This is done in a discreet way as not to take attention of your guests away from the day. You only want this to happen once your party starts.
What if it doesn’t work?
We have experienced staff to deal with all problems, and software issues are resolved by a virtual team while hardware like the HTML Cable or the printer can all be replaced with spares within the hour. We have 4 mirrors so if the worst happens you and us are covered. We won’t be spoiling anyone’s special day especially their wedding day.
Can the mirror go upstairs?
As we have delivery drivers set up in pairs, stairs are not a problem for us. We are pretty good at solving most issues after many years of experience.
How many photos do I get?
The customer gets a print out of every picture, a WeTransfer file of all photos, and your guests get a picture of every photo they are in if they wish to. Unlimited photos really is unlimited.
Can we have a Guestbook?
Yes we offer a Guestbook option where a member of our staff at The Added Extra encourage your guests to stick a photo in the album placed next to the mirror, and then ask them to write a message next to their photo. This gives you a fantastic memento of your day.
I don’t need the Selfie Mirror for all that time, can I have fewer hours?
Yes, we can provide a tailored quote if the selfie mirror is required for less time, and likewise we can do this if you need it for longer.
Can I change the colour of the guide ropes?
Yes this is no problem, we offer white, red, black and pink ropes.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes, we are fully covered in our public liability of £5m, certification is provided to venues directly if required. We are also fully PAT Tested.
