A BIG welcome to our newest member Charlotte Rice. She will be working in our retail department which allows us to reshuffle the rest of the staff and their roles a little bit.
Charlotte is very welcoming and has a bubbly personality and has proven in her role so far to be very helpful and confident. Hopefully she will be here long term and becomes part of the Added Extra family.
The big movers consequently are Zoe and Katie. Zoe who has been with us for over 3 years, is now taking on the vital roles of Operations and Marketing Manager. Zoe will ensure that your event runs smoothly as she will liase with the customers and the venues ensuring items are delivered and set up ready for your big party or event. While Katie is our new Social Media Manager, while performing a very active role within the sales team. Katie enjoys the social interaction and talking to our customers with any queries they may have. She comes up with fresh designs, while at the same time keeping an eye on the latest trends. Katie will be seen at Wedding Shows in particular, listening to what Brides and Grooms expect or even dream of for their Wedding Day.
The company keeps moving forward and improving with even more exciting new plans and ideas for this year to come. These positions are so important to be filled by highly motivated members of staff such as Zoe and Katie. It’s a pleasure to work with them and i look forward to what the future will bring. More importantly it will allow us to offer an even more bespoke service to our customers while ensuring we have the infrastructure in place to grow in how we want to.
With our light up letters, candy carts, selfie mirrors and all the other event hire props we offer,we believe it all contributes to being the first point of call in event prop hire in Cheshire, whether your a Bride or Groom, planning a big corporate event, or even a small childrens birthday party.
Me and my wife Joanna will continue filling all the gaps that staff don’t yet cover, however Joanna is very active in the wedding shows as she was before,and is usually the person to email you out of work hours. She is basically on 24hour call as well as looking after the family! Joanna also has to put up with me and control my over the top ideas that i sometimes get in striving to be one of the best event companies in Cheshire.
I must also thank at this point, Jason for his continued great work in maintaining all the hired props such as the illuminated LED letters after every event, ensuring the next customer receives them as if they were new that day. Also to Harry who does our Selfie Mirrors, who recently has been running around all over Chehire for us doing various tasks as we were getting ready for the year ahead while doing a number of Wedding Shows at the same time.
